Cloud computing and the open source movements have brought down the costs of starting a company by more than 90%. This has led to the creation of incubators, accelerators and seed funds. In 1998 it was 150 million, 1999 250 million and by 2000 it had crossed 350 million. There are 20x more consumers online.
