I had previously raised VC in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2005. I had seen many cycles and decided that since I was going to do it all over again I should write about it. We have also been very busy with our next release, which is due out by December 11th (but I’ll save that for a different post).

Sometime around 2003/04 my technology team turned me on to “Spolsky on Software&# a periodic newsletter served up blog style from Joel Spolsky of FogCreek Software, a maker of bug-tracking software. It helps with sales cycles because customers know that they can switch away if they so choose. 15 minutes.
