On April 10, 2014, I published a blog post, titled The New Venture Landscape , which explained why and how the venture ecosystem was shifting. There are a now a handful of funds, K9 included, that are Pre-Seed funds in name and practice. Yes, the infrastructure is cheap (to start), but the human costs have gone up dramatically.
