Please use the comments below to give your thoughts and analyses on why you think Twitter is not using the affiliate business model to monetize its immense traffic. Socioclean already has about 25,000 users, and has good interest from a dozen colleges and universities who want to offer white label solutions through their career development offices. This pretty much rules out SEO, PPC, affiliate marketing, etc. The game set retails online at $49.95, and about 2,000 unites have already been sold.

I also think that companies are starting to recognize more and more that affiliate programs allow them to increase their gross sales. First up, Raj Sheth from Bangalore, India, presented Recruiterbox , a SaaS recruitment management tool for small businesses, with co-founders Raghu Kancherla and Girish Redekar. and an affiliate program would also help with customer acquisition. This very slow development curve could have been avoided if I sought help from other people sooner, though it wasn’t a complete waste of time. It’s fairly clear that for all but a few unique success stories, every online business that grosses at least a million dollars a year relies on more than just one person to operate it.

I don’t know any developers. When I point out that they’re all business people, and wonder who’s going to build the product, they almost always fall back on “we’ll get a couple of undergrads to do it,” or, “we’ll outsource it.” How do you know which designer/developer to choose? I need money for the servers.
