Ive tried both but our app has grown too complex for either of them (we use a lot of gems and have a pretty customized test environment). Right now if you want to implement this, you need to setup your own source control repository that can talk to the continuous integration system. But it works.

Now, not only do we have small-screen iPhones, Android phones, Kindles, iPads and other mobile devices, but we’re asking websites to adapt to whichever device comes knocking. The bottom line is to keep information that is vital; question information that either is popular or has priority; archive and remove information that is neither.

They have a complex ecosystem and veritable one stop shop for many marketing requirements, but not all. Adobe products can have some complexity to implement but that should be expected given Adobe’s feature set and customizability. Free often wins versus buying a competing product. Most flexibility of any tool out there.

Businesses with more complex needs or pressures may use multi-platform solutions. Theres nothing inherently wrong with Flash or Silverlight, but most often their use should be considered only for incremental interface enhancements to a system built on an establish web framework. Some are more technical, or more mature than others.
