Today Baum heads up a non-profit called Founder.org , where he’s applying the lessons he learned from his own startups to help student entrepreneurs launch their companies. In Paris today at the World Founder Forum he announced the top 10 student team winners who split $1 million in seed money prizes.

One must have at least seed money, or more, to get a start-up going. A credit union is a membership organisation, and, are non-profit by definition. They do good work, mostly, and since they are non-profit, our tradition, history — and law — has been to not tax them, and this has been a very good thing by and large.
