The NSF I-Corps Lean LaunchPad class has different goals then the same class taught in a university or incubator. In an incubator, the Lean LaunchPad develops angel or venture-funded startups. It’s a model for a government program that’s gotten the balance between public/private partnerships just right. government has built an accelerator for scientists and engineers. BTW, NCIIA is offering other accelerators and incubators a class to learn how to build their own versions of I-Corps here. Lessons Learned.
