In the 1950’s the groundwork for a culture and environment of entrepreneurship were taking shape on the east and west coasts of the United States. This all changed in 1980 with the Genentech IPO. Although Facebook’s stock price has fallen well below its IPO price of $38 per share, many people agree that the stock is still significantly overpriced. While China and Russia are both huge markets, it’s doubtful that their revenue per user will be equal to the revenue per user in Europe or the United States.

The idea is to enable up to 10,000 people per year to enter the United States if they are here to found a company that will employ US citizens. The EB-5 visa is designed for foreign investors to get a green card if they are willing to bring capital to the US and create at least ten full-time jobs. The Geeks are doing their part.
