They may ask you to continue working and paying through the website, to boost their reputation there, or they may want to just go direct. I also know someone else who consulted me about his website idea. Well as a programmer of many websites I find that it is easier for my clients to consult my ideas first. Either way is fine.

I too am looking for someone to work with that knows the manufacturing and distribution end of a solid product. There are only a tiny fraction of people who hit on all the right circumstances to go from prototype to hit in a straight trajectory. Cant wait for more posts on Techcrunch [link] ?
