But as any programmer will tell you (I’m one), any lucrative contract or full time job you can get, especially these days, will usually leave you so burnt out by the end of the day that the last thing you will want to do is sit down and bang out more code. Do a curl (or your.NET equivalent) on each domain, and see how many are running a Windows server: I think you’ll find the fraction very small. My entry into web development (after 7 years of Unix development, 4 writing console games, and 3 writing router firmware) was helping my father-in-law’s company.
