In coming up with my executive search firm’s name in 2010, I knew I did not want my own name in the title. I also didn’t want recruiting, staffing, search, etc., Before I started my business I went to a conference in Hawaii called Worthshop and one of the speakers was Jody Burr who talked about finding your inner CEO.

For example, I type in for "trip to Hawaii" (not an esoteric destination) into Google. Ditto if I do a Google search for "high zoom digital camera" and get an ad for Frys Electronics. A search for "sales automation" shows a link for Zoho, leading me to the site below left. Take any metric you want.

I discovered blogging because I was told it was great for search engine rankings. For example, you’ve probably done searches in Google to find what websites rank well for the search terms you want to bring leads to your business. You could find websites that currently rank well for certain phrases and make an offer to buy.
