During the Internet Bubble there were a number of startups founded by business people who then wentlooking for hackers to create their product for them. Because so little money is involved, raising seedcapital is comparatively easy-- at least in the sense of getting aquick yes or no. You dont want mere voting; you need unanimity.

If you are raising a seed round now, there are a few things you can do to protect yourself. There are still the same debates on whether or not you should take seed money from VCs. Lastly, seed-stage entrepreneurs who have pushed for the maximum valuation possible haven’t done themselves any favors.
