One partnership was clearly very divided and a vocal minority of GPs thought consumer internet companies were a massive waste of time and money. Consumer internet plays in Canada are rare, and finding a VC willing to give you the cash to scale is even more so.

We’d rather spend more energy working with our companies after we invest, rather than working to meet them prior to an investment.
