Without naming the name of the companies, I clearly made two investments convinced of the product and that people would love it. In Germany alone, there was something like 85 active funds in 2000. Running around Europe trying to find lead investors for these businesses was priority number 1.

And of course, this is 2000. This one really started getting legs in the late '90s, early 2000s. And a person I hired named Belinda Johnson, she was my general counsel, then she became my COO, now my board member. And by the way, we ended up raising $2 billion and the lead investor, Silver Lake. So 20 years ago.
