at 12:41 pm Rob, just a hypothetical question here: what if there were the equivalent to the iPhone app store for server software? Developers for apps on the iPhone are spared much of the friction you mentioned (marketing challenges, securing wide distribution, fulfillment headaches, varied platform and runtime support issues).
