While currently free to angel groups, their business model revolves around aggregating the angel investment data. Again, I see nothing wrong with this, although entrepreneurs often prefer convertible debt as it defers the valuation discussion and leaves the Series A price for the venture firm to set. 1 comment: Anonymous said.

Microsofts originalplan was to make money selling programming languages, of all things.Their current business model didnt occur to them until IBM droppedit in their lap five years later. Some angels, especially those with technology backgrounds, may be satisfied with a demo and a verbal description of what you plan to do.
