I was a judge at last night’s 59 days of code startup competition here in Fresno. Join nearly 6,000 startup entrepreneurs by subscribing to my RSS feed. Teams had 59 days to create a killer app. One that solves a problem, is marketable, and demos well. Overall it was an impressive showing of local talent.

The most common responses will involve search engine optimization, AdWords, blogging, podcasting, and perhaps social media. If you can do this dinner is on me when you come to Fresno. Here’s an interesting exercise: find a startup or microISV founder and ask the following: What are the top 3 approaches you use to find customers?
