As for location, most are in North America, and not surprisingly, they are disproportionately located in Boston and New York (39%). But 22% of the startups founded by HBS alums are outside North America, with some ending up very dominant in their home markets.

I started Venture for America back in 2011 with the goal of creating thousands of American jobs in communities around the country. I had never been to a handful of American Cities prior to starting Venture for America. In many of those books, they talked about UBI as something that would be necessary down the road.
