For early stage companies, it’s important to show that you’re on path, that you have prospects, and that you can get to your vision. Analogies are a conceptual framework, so they’re not going to be 100% accurate. Put another way, the ideal financing partner is a financing cofounder. If you have a good analogy, use it.
