Hypotheses about Intellectual Property, Reimbursement, Regulation and Clinical Trials found on the left side of canvas are as, or more important than those on the right side of the canvas. Details: So, at the beginning of his post, to him an idea is something worth protecting as intellectual property. Early on the programming was suckage; the electronics was unreliable; and the signal quality was awful; still people bought them. Definitely "totally unique", and was a rapidly growing business right away.

Microsofts originalplan was to make money selling programming languages, of all things.Their current business model didnt occur to them until IBM droppedit in their lap five years later. Hackersshould do this even if they dont plan to start startups, because its the only real way to learn how to program. Thats nonsense.

But they herald a sea change in what computers are capable of doing, how they do it, and what hardware and software is needed to do it. It uses new words to define programming steps, job descriptions, development tools, etc. The “learning” part of machine learning means these programs change how they process data over time.
