Managers of VC funds typically want to grow their business aggressively, just like the founders we back. – Build out low-cost force multipliers such as scouts , Advisors, Entrepreneurs in Residence, Venture Partners, and so on. This evolves the VC from a server to a router. – Hire more non-Partner staff.

The funny part is that I didn’t realize Eventbrite had male cofounders since Women 2.0 always spotlighted Julie Hartz, cofounder and wife of Kevin. ConnectGroup – developed relationship with a Hilton general mgr in the south bay, then he became an advisor for Connect, got them into a few other hotels.

The Cinepak codec was written by the engineer who would become my cofounder at Rocket Science Games.) My first IPO at Convergent. But the rest of the management team really skeptical. I was the Senior Technical Writer for SMac from 1988-1991. There was nothing for the consumer to do. Little did we know.
