It’s striking that algorithm developments for machine intelligence have been overwhelmingly open source. Graphcore (in stealth, see this video at 28:58) calls them Intelligent Processor Units. Similar tools for recruitment, insurance, financial management etc. Of course there are exceptions?—?last Revolution healthcare.

Investors will ask management what their “AI strategy” is before investing and will be wary of companies that don’t have one (Fred Wilson, USV). Some examples: AI will be the new mobile.
