Moving To Homer, Alaska

We were living in Boston at the time. By the end of 1994 I had a staff job, reporting to the co-chairmen of AmeriData where I travelled all over the US helping with acquisitions and generally causing trouble. At some point Amy and I realized we could live anywhere and we knew that Boston wasn’t home.

Dave and I had a monthly offsite where we went away for a day and an overnight somewhere within driving distance of Boston. It was 1994. I flew to San Francisco from Boston, stayed overnight in the city, and drove over the Golden Gate Bridge. There were three owners – me, Dave Jilk, and my dad.
