Twitter was one of the most notable, with a market capitalization now up to $38 billion all by itself. Cost of entry for a startup is at an all-time low. Funding for early-stage startups is more available than ever.

Last year was the most active year for IPOs in the United States since 2000. Cost of entry for a startup is at an all-time low. I can remember when creating a web site for eCommerce could easily require a million dollar investment. Thus a record number of entrepreneurs (and employees) are getting rich.

According to Ferenstein, “AAA estimates that the average cost of car ownership per year is about $9,000.” The fixed costs of this marginal car are very high (DMV registration, insurance, depreciation), yet the usage of that car is much lower. AAA estimates that the average annual cost of owning a car is $9,000.

This is an acknowledgement (which has proven out across the world) that bans do not stop crypto activity — that there is a pent up demand for access to financial capital and control over that financial capital. The writer would have probably written a similar piece about the internet in 2000.

What is the mix of revenue between ads, subscriptions, digital downloads & ecommerce. They never did any PR or marketing to get their videos to first get shown on the news during the 2000 election. Evan is artist who is the creative genius who was working with the low-cost film medium in the late 90′s.
