Finding Developers is Tough Again

On Friday, at the LA CTO Forum , I heard from a couple of CTOs having trouble finding good developers. I’ll leave that for another discussion as the inquiry that I keep getting is more about local talent than offshore talent. If you have other places you use to source developers, please let me know.

There were a lot of questions about outsourcing/offshoring and startups. I dont see any reason why having the team offshore is any more of a liability in this area than, say, having to do this work while selling through a channel (and hence, not having direct access to customers). Talk about waste.
