You probably want to have a monthly one though because all your other expenses for the most part are monthly: rent, salaries, all your fixed costs, insurance. Will developers and designers provide services for a piece of the company? Ideally you can pay them based + equity so that you’ll get their attention and focus on the project. However, i need a technical person (web developer) who can bring my vision to life. Initial developer: partner or hired? Google won’t care.

Im a UX and front end designer bootstrapping my own products with pure sweat equity at night but always looking for someone else to partner with(engineer/programmer)to bring these ideas life. As talented as a programmer/web developer may be, it still takes at least SOME time to grasp the basic concept of what you are wanting to do.
