How is the VC Asset Class Doing?

For example, a $10B endowment might be looking to have 10% ($1B) allocated to venture capital at any one time. So, if the venture asset class performs well in terms of unrealized mark-ups, the % of VC relative to the total portfolio actually increases. That 10% might start to look more like 12% or 15%.
