Today I lead a small consultancy that helps advertising supported develop and scale the revenue producing sides of their businesses. Vince: On the consulting side we are working with a unique social network, a new television network and some original video content businesses. I help internet companies make money.

I’m very pleased today to announce that I invested, on behalf of GRP Partners, in Burstly alongside Rincon Venture Partners , an early stage VC in Southern California whith whom we love to work (and were our co-investors on RingRevenue ). What worked on the tethered Internet will not necessarily dominate in the mobile world.

We were talking about a company, Factual (disclosure my firm is an investor), which was founded by one of LA’s most talented Internet entrepreneurs, Gil Elbaz , who as co-founder of Applied Semantics (purchased by pre-IPO Google for $102 million and now Google AdSense) is responsible for a large portion of the Internet’s monetization.

He’s done several startups and is a board member of the Technology Council of Southern California (which is where I met him originally). We have traditionally been a company heard about through word of mouth, radio advertising (now our own show) and from a Mini sighting. Who are some of your go to people in Southern California?

That way, we can focus on things that are more important, like advertising and ads analysis. I’m a business owner based out of Southern California. In September, our state governor signed an executive order that requires all new passenger vehicles sold in California to be zero-emission by 2035.

I also did a very short video on the topic. [if We think that the magazine industry is going through incredible change but that the Internet website experience doesn’t yet fulfill our magazine needs. We set up Formation Media to bring that experience to the Internet. I’m a partner at the largest VC fund in Southern California.
