I’m not seeing much evidence of this – yet … I have seen some of the more prolific angels start to slow down because capital is not recycling as fast as they are putting it out. There is also a huge amount of seed capital available from seed funds. That’s a pretty common phenomenon.

Through connections, or through a chance meeting at a networking or social event, an angel investor hears the entrepreneur's story, likes them and their technology, and on the spot, writes a check to provide the company with its first outside financing. All live happily ever after. There are a lot of dark, hard days.
