Gideon also produced the very first Becomeablogger.com blog design to host the videos, which was one of the last times he did any web design work. If you get your offer wrong, you won’t make sales. The videos were challenging to produce and several times Gideon had to redo a video, but eventually the job was finished.

Always Be Testing The biggest lesson I learned while taking the site from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month (revenue, not profit), is that there are a lot of great theories about marketing, but no one can tell you the exact thing that’s going to lead to an uptick in sales. Marketing is Design.

I got out of the university in early 2000 and I never went on to a full-time job, so it’s always been an online business for me. The biggest deal I’ve ever done was a sale of a $100,000 website. I changed the design a few times. The person who owns this blog is Michael Pollack, and he was a web designer and small business fan.
