In 2020 we applied the same approach to two of our customers: idronect (software to manage drone businesses) and Opsfleet (software development company). With Opsfleet, the situation was critical as they provide a commodity service (software development) and have signifcant competition.

It would make a lot of sense for someone else to just come along and build our hardware and sell our software without paying for 15 people doing development and engineering, but nobody did that. flavor of a question-and-answer, poll-your-friends site with a distant revenue model and no user acquisition strategy.

I wanted to work in the pure, intellectual world of software, not deal with customers mundane problems. People who dont want to get dragged into some kind ofwork often develop a protective incompetence at it. Some believe only businesspeople can do this-- that hackers can implement software, but not design it. Thats nonsense.

This is done by enriching transaction data points such as name, email address, and billing and shipping address with around 2,000 extra data points, such as an IP latency check to measure the real distance from the user, IP connection type, distance between key strokes, and email name match.

The only problem is I haven’t found a problem or an industry – web, enterprise software, green tech, etc – where I feel passionate. How I can find the right investor (software)? Acquisition / Lifetime Value, etc. I’m a web designer but I need to find a dependable software developer to team with.
