Tonight’s event at the 5A5 Steak Lounge in San Francisco was even better. The San Francisco events will be run by Chris Sacca (of Lowercase Capital ) and Kevin Rose of Digg. It serves a similar role as Digsby (which I love using) albeit from a social media metaphor rather than an IM metaphor.

Highlights from the 2009 Business of Software Conference

Business of Software is a conference organized by Neil Davidson and Joel Spolsky , and was held this year in San Francisco. The key take-away is that product differentiation is how you make money, and neutralization (keeping up with your competition) is how you stay in the game. An excellent presentation from a brilliant guy.
