And I’d say most time the people behind it are clever. But what I’m wondering is how much of it was planned, on strategy and predictable before any of it happened.

'Somehow I became the guy who hates demo days. Oh yeah, because I wrote “ I Don’t Want to Meet Your Company at Demo Day.” Funny thing though, that post isn’t really about hating on demo days but rather holding myself accountable for tracking the most compelling entrepreneurs and their startups over time, not just in the big reveal.

'In November of last year I decided to test out using a standing desk. Pics and stuff here. And after four months of giving it the old college try, I’m sad to say I’m back to a regular old sitting desk. My new “sitting” desk. Things I liked about the standing desk: It made me feel healthier. I’m sure my legs are stronger for it, and theoretically my posture and things improved, but that’s hard to tell.
