My suggestion with the ad is to put the typography right into the photo, so you have control over how powerful it is, and how easy it is to read. Also the typography is so small , that it’s very difficult to read. After that, we all know that people scan & quickly look for things. Try 14 or 16px type to make it easier to see.

Do you purposefully try to communicate that through typography , images , and design as quickly as possible when a visitor lands on your website? ALSO (and this is just my opinion) as a male trying to find a leather jacket, I was not impressed that many of these sites did not have gender neutral category pages for non-gendered key phrases.
