They created a program called Onward California in partnership with the State of California and with the support of governor Newsom. Their model in California was so successful they eventually created a new organization, Onward US, dedicated to putting American workers displaced by COVID-19 back to work.

In order to get optimal results from a group-based effort, you need three things: diversity, Independence , and an objective method for aggregating results. Aggregate results carefully. It ended with a large layoff and a transfer of jobs from NY to California and Bangalore. The Lean Startup Intensive is tomorrow at Web 2.0.
