Machine Learning Meets the Lean Startup

We just finished our Lean LaunchPad class at UC Berkeley’s engineering school where many of the teams embedded machine learning technology into their products. For example, according to CBInsights nearly 140 machine intelligence have been acquired since 2011, with over 40 being bought so far in 2016.

Dick is focusing his effort on getting some early customer validation and is using a Lean Startup approach. Once these were up Dick launched several AdWords campaigns to test customer interest. Dick, Jane, and Praveena decided to get a small office so they could work out of the same space.
