I’ve recently come across several of such lists and I thought it could be useful to aggregate them and share them here. Small fine-tuned models as an alternative to giant generic ones – when finely tuned with appropriate data, smaller, specialised LLMs can yield comparable results at a fraction of the cost.

The more well-known your company becomes, the harder it gets to directly impact primary KPI’s at the aggregate level because the majority of customers who buy are going to do so irrespective of if your button color is red or blue. One is explaining the world as it used to work: the importance of gatekeepers, the scarcity implied by limited distribution, and the resulting quality bar that the industry is so proud of. Mostly it is the time and expense required to create the means of distribution for that industry. It’s just taking some longer than others.
