In my case, I grew up in Connecticut and spent a fair amount of time in New York – all the while trying to start companies, relatively unsuccessfully. Honestly assess your own strengths and weaknesses thoroughly. The ecosystem is just hard to beat. Makes me very comfortable with the choices we’ve made!
