Very useful perspective - as a first-time CEO managing a small startup, these ideas are timely and thought-provoking. This is a philosophy that governs my daily life as well as my entrepreneurial activities. You need an overarching vision and goal but just try to get to the next level, one iteration or sprint at a time.

incubators, e.g., the many options in New York. Many industries are very difficult to penetrate from the outside, e.g. healthcare, education, government services, and more. Development firms that advertise part equity and cash are simply not mature in defining their model, and thus they have no business taking stakes in others.
