My responsibility at the time I joined the company was to develop a product that is to be deployed on a social network (hint hint, FB). Suffice to say, most of the hackers Ive known have been men.

Lead Gen: I utilized my friends, professional contacts, and Harvard networks by sending out emails to list serves, reaching out to people, and getting referrals. I attended engineering-focused Meetups and networking events. After the group exercise, we were free to network some more and meet people outside of our group.
