I grew up on a family potato farm in SE Idaho and I have a PhD in Engineering from Stanford (also known as The Farm). In addition, information technology is at the core of green/sustainable energy initiatives. So I feel I have pretty good mix of horse sense and formal education. I have been in the technology industry for 30+ years.
