SneakerLabs’ first product was a Java-based chat server and client. The hosted offering worked by having users place an “HTML-snippet” on their own website, which would retrieve the Java Applet from our servers and connect back to our servers. I would argue that startups need to be doing Revenue Development very early on.

Waaaaay back in 2010, Mongrel and Rails had a bit of a compatibility issue , and I solved it via a monkeypatch. a look at the enterprise sector (java, for example) and take a breath. This was clearly written for developers using Rails. So did I do a great job of addressing this problem? X at the moment. Thank you.

For most of its existence, PHP didnt have a standard package-distribution system or very good module support. Although this was annoying for sysadmins, security consultants, and language purists (and for those who had proprietary modules that couldnt be bundled), it was a huge boon for developers.
