My father was a doctor, a pediatrician with zero interest or knowledge in business at all. His father came from Romania. I got a job at a bank, and I worked in their corporate finance group. You’re two guys in a garage, two guys across campus trying to make a name for yourself. Comp sci in the 80s was terrible.
