There are a now a handful of funds, K9 included, that are Pre-Seed funds in name and practice. Unless every aspect of product development is covered by founders who are only receiving equity, there are other parts of building a product that will require hiring highly qualified people. Q: How are most Pre-Seed deals structured?

All names redacted.). Out of fairness, that’s why they wanted to hire me, to fix that issue. Non-compete. I was once asked to sign a one year non-compete agreement as a sweat equity consultant. It’s often made worse because some clever people like to name the corporations very similarly.
