In 2007, I left my career to become a stay-at-home mom. Women’s experiences are often used to further a male lead’s story or as shock value for the audience. After spending almost a decade in Africa, I realized that most of the charities and nonprofits weren’t making as big of a difference as they claimed.

What I do, effectively, is work with extraordinary people in their fields (authors, athletes, speakers, industry professionals, entertainers, entrepreneurs) to build their profile among their key audience. I don’t have any specific qualifications in Public Relations, and its not really necessary, with the journalism degree being sufficient.
