At IMVU , we called this person a Producer (revealing our games background); in Scrum , they are called the Product Owner. Getting educated about advertising, agencies, and. I believe its important that product teams be cross-functional, no matter what other job function the product champion does.

If you think the product manager job is what’s described in a Certified Scrum Product Owner class, you almost certainly fall into this category. Sales was nervous that this idea of a self-service advertising platform would diminish the value of what the sales team was trying to sell. Others were worried about cannibalization.

Like the ability to spend X dollars on advertising and gain Y dollars in revenue or something like that. My first instinct as an internet user is to close this browser window instantly because this just screams bad. You need an internet surface that you can write on. Which is similar, it has less of a SCRUM-my feel to it.

Dont blame the programmer if your internet platform or softwares not selling itself. Wille (2010-06-20) # I would say that the "User Story" template format of writing requirements pushed by the Scrum Agile methodology is the way to go, as it chunks functionality in a common, easily overviewable format with a common language.
