TWTFelipe and I ended up speaking for nearly 30 minutes and we talked mostly about why his company was based in Canada and not the US. He came to the United States in 2001 to study Software Engineering at Auburn University. He spent a bunch of this time in Canada. So he decided to start his company in Canada.

I do disagree about two other points: First, this isn't the "quora rockstar engineer" perspective. It's my perspective as well and I'm not a software engineer let alone a rockstar. I am talking about self-appointed 10x egostars, not real solid software engineers.
