Jody didn’t exactly have an easy time fund raising because he’s not one of the prototypical Silicon Valley funded entrepreneurs. I sent out a teaser Tweet without releasing his name. I believe AngelList is capable of managing deal flow by acting as a filter. So I thought, WTF?

Mechanics Angel investors often syndicate deals, which means they join togetherto invest on the same terms. In a syndicate there is usually a"lead" investor who negotiates the terms with the startup. Deal Flow Of course the question of how to choose startups presumes youhave startups to choose between.
