I do disagree about two other points: First, this isn't the "quora rockstar engineer" perspective. It's my perspective as well and I'm not a software engineer let alone a rockstar. You don't need a self-designated 10x imbe. I am lucky if I can put up a landing page without crashing a server.

Had I known it was going to take the internet by storm I probably would have been a bit more careful with my word choice (especially referring to.NET as a language, doh!). Because.NET is designed to extend, not disrupt. Some us have evolved past the visual designers. If they use Haml, are they ignorant of HTML?
