In the era of social networks, LinkedIn, Facebook messaging, Quora and email addresses that are easily guessable, it’s easy to think that maybe you should just approach a VC directly. But if you’re looking for something differentiated in your portfolio I think we’d be a great fit. They seem so reachable.

Sir Martin Sorrel , the founder of WPP (the worlds largest media organization), recently said he went to Tech Punta in Montevideo instead of the CES in Las Vegas. It was anti-social in nature. Recent growth in digital social networks has served as a reminder on what differentiates our species.

This turns out to be one of the real differentiators for Twitter. Asymmetric – Before Twitter most social networks had “symmetric” relationships meaning that when somebody wanted to follow you, you had to follow them back in order for us to be connected. They know this because Twitter is social, open & asymmetric.
